Excitement is building as Al Qasba, Sharjah’s premier family destination developed by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), has announced upcoming theatre shows for 2025 in partnership with ‘H2 Productions’, renowned for their captivating performances that blend storytelling with creativity.

Building on the success of previous theatrical shows such as “Alice in Wonderland” and “Magic Phil’s Toyland Express,” Masrah Al Qasba is set to deliver an incredible lineup of beloved classics reimagined for contemporary audiences and family friendly entertainment. From fairy tales to thrilling adventures, each production aims to transport children and families to magical realms, igniting the imagination and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

 

A full year of theatrical wonder

The 2025 season at Al Qasba will commence on April 1st with the timeless tale of “Cinderella,” inviting audiences to experience the wondrous narrative of dreams coming true, running until April 5th. As summer approaches, families can set sail on an exhilarating adventure with “Treasure Island” from 2-7 June, and from 29-31 August, the heartwarming story of “Pinocchio” will captivate audiences while teaching valuable lessons about bravery and honesty.

From 11-16 October, the theatrical masterpiece, “Around the World in 80 Days” will take families on an interactive journey through comedy and adventure that celebrates friendship and kindness. The year will conclude with a spectacular rendition of “Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs” from 5-7 December, promising laughter and excitement for all.

Each day will feature two performances—one at 3:00 PM and another at 6:00 PM—with additional showtimes available for school groups. Ticket prices start at AED 45, and space is limited so it’s advised to book early to avoid missing these world-class productions.

Shurooq is pushing creative boundaries even further for this year’s season with state-of-the-art production elements. Audiences will be enveloped in vibrant worlds brought to life through sweeping LED backdrops, dynamic lighting that dances to the rhythm of the story, and crystal-clear soundscapes that make every whisper and crescendo resonate. These technological marvels, paired with intricate costumes and sets from H2 Productions, ensure that each performance is a sensory journey that lingers long after the final curtain call.

As a treasured destination within Sharjah, Al Qasba’s serene gardens and architectural elegance provide the perfect canvas for these theatrical marvels. Renowned for its blend of heritage, family entertainment and delectable eateries, this waterside venue will serve as a fairytale wonderland, setting the scene for stories of adventure and discovery.
