“We are extremely happy with the overwhelming success and the positive atmosphere Sharjah Ramadan Nights is witnessing since its launch,” with these words, a group of shopping mall officials expressed their satisfaction with the increasing sales and revenue volume that have been achieved so far.

Jamal Bu Zinjal, General Coordinator of the Festival, which is organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), said: “The SCCI spares no effort to achieve its mission, vision, and strategic goals in order to regulate the economic life in the emirate, support its business community and achieve prosperity for its various sectors at all levels.”

“From this perspective, we’ve been keen over the last 3 decades to organize this event along with other distinguished events,” Bu Zinjal added, stressing that the Festival has established its presence as an important social, cultural, and commercial event in Sharjah, as well as being an eagerly-awaited shopping season by companies, visitors, and residents to take advantage of the benefits it provides.

Fuad Sharaf, Managing Director, UAE Shopping Malls, Majid Al Futtaim Properties said that Sharjah Ramadan Festival has always been so important for the retail sector in the Emirate, as well as being an essential part of the unique Ramadan festivities in Sharjah. The Festival gains even more importance this year for both customers and retailers, as it comes during a phase of economic recovery for both sides. Sharaf also expressed the gratitude of Majid Al Futtaim shopping malls to Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its fundamental efforts, and their pleasure to participate in Sharjah Ramadan Festival to reward their visitors and the wider Sharjah community, as they are a part of this community and work for their good as always.

Salim M.A, Director of Lulu Group, in turn, explained that the growth rate in sales is increasing significantly during the first three weeks, stressing that the attractive deals and discounts on a wide range of products have greatly contributed to regaining customer confidence, especially in light of the implementation of strict precautionary and preventive measures.
