Al Ketbi pointed out that the goal is to reach 100 per cent compliance of the owners and investors of real estate in the Emirate of Sharjah as the decision to install and connect an advanced security system to protect buildings from fire and accidents applies at the end of this year.
He mentioned that such a task falls within the mandate of SANED, which includes integrated facilities management, public and private utilities care services, technical project management in construction, and areas related to health, safety and environment in addition to fire prevention strategies, environmental health and safety inspection & training, and integrated security systems.
Aman’ is the system approved in the Emirate of Sharjah, in accordance with Executive Council Resolution No. (20) of 2019, which requires industrial and commercial establishments and residential buildings to install a security system to protect community members from fire hazards around the clock, within an alarm system that alerts in case of fire and emergency cases, and the system is connected to the operations room of the Civil Defense Department in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The system is linked to a control room of the highest international standards in the Operations and Customer Happiness Center of SANED, in cooperation with the Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority to translate the strategy of the Emirate of Sharjah related to strengthening the pillars of security and safety, and spreading awareness about the best ways to prevent accidents and fires, in order to make a community risk-free.
The cost of installing a safety device is 4,200 dirhams, which is the electronic linkage of alarms with the operations room of the General Directorate of Civil Defense and the safety operations room of SANED Company, the project’s executive arm, which operates around the clock, seven days a week.
