76% of the total exhibiting space at the 7th edition of Acres Real Estate Exhibition 2020 has been booked, Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) announced today.

Held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the real estate exhibition will run between 5-7 March 2020, at Expo Centre Sharjah.

It is organised by SCCI represented by the Committee of the Real Estate Sector Business Group, in cooperation with the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD). The event will see the participation of a number of Egyptian & Turkish real estate companies this year.

Constructive action programmes

HE Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi, SCCI’s Director-General, stressed that all preparations to host Acres 2020 are now almost complete and that the organising committee is very keen add something special to every new edition through launching constructive action programmes and initiatives that support the business community.

The event will introduce participating investors to the Emirate’s available investment opportunities in the real estate sector, Al-Awadi further said.

“All relevant government bodies are to bring this year’s edition to a resounding success. We hope it will result in giant strides and great ideas and projects that would take Sharjah’s real estate sector to new heights, in line with the vision of  HH Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah” SCCI’s Director-General affirmed.

Prestigious position

For his part, HE Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director-General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Directorate in Sharjah, said: “The growing number of companies participating in Acres highlights its prestigious position being a significant platform to promote real estate projects, discuss new and promising business partnerships and conclude major deals.

“This year’s edition will witness a number of workshops, training courses, seminars and dialogue sessions, delivered by a number of concerned departments and leading companies in Real estate investment and development in the emirate. They will shed light on the facilities and laws that encourage investment in Sharjah, and how to overcome all challenges facing real estate investors and developers,” Al Shamsi added.

A large number of companies and institutions specialized in real estate development, contracting, building materials, construction, agents, real estate brokers, banks, financial institutions, architectural design services companies, interior design and relevant governmental institutions are participating in the exhibition every year.

This is in addition to real estate management services companies, real estate owners, engineering services companies and project management companies.

The participating entities are expected to take advantage of Sharjah’s position being as an attractive and distinctive investment destination, especially with the increasing number of new major shopping centers, modern and world-class residential complexes, luxury and multi-use real estate projects.
