The “Jewels of Emirates” Show, the first 100% Emirati exhibition for jewelry, gold, silver, pearl, precious stones, luxury watches, and perfumes, has announced that the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) will be the media partner of the first edition of the exhibition which is organized and hosted by the Expo Centre Sharjah from 25 to 28 November, under the theme “Let your jewelry speak for you”.

According to this partnership, Sharjah TV will present a daily show to cover the exhibition activities and events, including interviews with exhibitors and organizers, as well as handing out AED 10000 gift vouchers through the daily raffle draws.

The exhibition is supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) and will see the participation of a large number of UAE companies to showcase their latest traditional and modern gold and diamond lines and trends.

His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, said: “Sponsoring this event comes as part of our commitment to encourage and sponsor all creative initiatives aimed at improving economic performance, enhancing the emirate’s competitiveness, boosting commercial returns and traffic to achieve happiness and prosperity for citizens and residents.”

He underlined the SBA’s constant keenness to strengthen its partnerships with various institutions in the emirate, in line with its strategic trends and pursuant to the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.

Khalaf added: “Our media partnership with the “Jewels of Emirates” Show is part of our social responsibility which aims to enhance our community involvement by employing our various media platforms to convey a positive message to the public according to the highest standards.”

Commending the prompt response of the SBA to sponsoring the exhibition, His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al-Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, said that this partnership with the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority underlines the importance and role of the national media as a true partner at all times, stressing that the local media will remain supportive of the development process in the emirate by highlighting all events and activities that would enhance Sharjah’s competitiveness.

Al-Midfa emphasized Expo Centre’s keenness to hold various partnerships with public and private economic institutions to provide support and help improve the economic and business environment, as well as to stimulate its fundamental role, especially during this global crisis.
