Shams Extends Support To Businesswomen In Run-Up To Emirati Women’s Day
Sharjah Media City (Shams), a world-class media hub for innovative facilities and services, has announced the release of a new business license package, which is intended to extend support to women entrepreneurs within the region, on the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day on 28th August.
The‘Women Entrepreneurs’ package supports women looking to begin their entrepreneurial journey and offers 50% off when obtaining a new business license, and 30% on renewal. It is available to all women above the age of 19 and covers all business activities; offering a supportive hand for start-up companies run by women.
H.E. Shihab Al Hammadi, Director of Sharjah Media City (Shams), said “We are always striving to support women entrepreneurs in the region. Through providing smart and innovative solutions, we endeavour to create a suitable work environment in which women can launch their own businesses with ease, at the lowest possible costs, and with the support of similar companies through an integrated business community.
Al Hammadi continued, “The initiatives and support provided by Shams to women entrepreneurs, who aspire to start their own projects and develop them into effective and successful businesses, stem from our strategy and vision to discover, develop, and hone talents. Our support is all in line with the requirements of the local and global market, and contributes to supporting the economy within our emirate.”
The ‘Women Entrepreneurs’ package, the initiative to support businesswomen, will continue until the middle of next month from August 16th to September 15th, 2020.
