The Kids Activity workshops at the 38^th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair have been drawing packed crowds. The ‘Painting on Glass’ workshop was no exception.

A pair of scissors, a roll of transparent masking tape, a flat piece of wood and some water was all it required. The children were given a paper label on which the SIBF logo was printed. They were instructed to snip off a piece of masking tape slightly larger than the label. The label was then stuck, face down, on the tape.

Next step, dip the tape in water for a few minutes. The paper dissolved and the clear tape with the logo was now ready to be ‘painted’ on glass. The children are given a plain white mug on which they stuck the tape with the logo. Viola! Their painting on glass is done.
