SCCI’s Sharaka Webinar To Discuss Adaptation To New Normal In Education And Healthcare In UAE, Austria
The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) is organizing jointly with the Austro-Arab Chamber of Commerce a webinar titled “Adjusting to new normal in education and healthcare in UAE, Austria”.
The welcome session of the forum, which is set to kick off at 12 pm next Thursday, will be attended by HE Ibrahim Salem Al Musharrekh, UAE Ambassador to Austria, HE Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman, SCCI, Senator Dr. Richard Schenz, President of the Austro-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Vice President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, and HE Mudar Al Khoja, Secretary-General of the Austro-Arab Chamber of Commerce.
Two sessions are set to be held in this forum. The first session is titled “Better health for better business”. It will be moderated by Mudar Al Khoja, Secretary-General of the Austro-Arab Chamber of Commerce, with the participation of Abdullah Ali Al-Mahyan, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority & Sharjah Healthcare City, and Prof. Dr. Jopsef Penninger, a world-leading geneticist.
The second session will be held under the title “Learning through the pandemic”. It will be moderated by Mai Bin Hadda, International Relations Executive, SCCI, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Essam El Din Ajami, Dean of Quality Assurance, University of Sharjah, and Mr. Stan Brackman, Director of the Strategic Planning and Excellence Department at the Sharjah Private Education Authority.
HE Mohamed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General, SCCI, lauded the existing relations between the SCCI and several Austrian economic bodies and underlined the mutual attention of both sides to take this relationship to new heights by enhancing the partnerships between Emirati and Austrian business communities.
Al Awadi hoped that the forum will represent a real opportunity to strengthen bilateral cooperation, exchange experiences in the education and healthcare sectors, and open up new avenues for future projects serving the interests of the two friendly countries.
Fatima Al Mokarrab, Director of the SCCI International Relations Department, pointed out that the webinar is the first fruit of the Chamber’s initiative “Sharaka – Experts Talk”, which will include a number of forums on the latest developments and local and global issues.
Al Mokarrab added: “Such meetings aim to introduce the pioneering Emirati experience in confronting the Covid-19 pandemic to the Austrian bodies and business community, besides the speed of recovery and the gradual return to normalcy especially in education and healthcare thanks to the adoption of the latest technologies and methods.”
