SAIF Zone Marks 48th UAE National Day With Grand Gala And Exciting Activities
The Sharjah Airport International Free Zone celebrated today morning (Wednesday) the 48th UAE National Day with a grand gala, featuring a series of exciting activities, in the presence of HE Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of SAIF Zone, heads of departments and staff members.
Held at SAIF Zone’s head office, the ceremony involved traditional songs, dance performance (Al Ayyala dance) performed by Dibba War Squad, Emirati food servings as well as other competitions and interesting activities. The head office of SAIF Zone was also decorated with UAE flags and union slogans, in celebration of the occasion.

“As we celebrate this glorious occasion, we, the UAE people, say “Thank You” to our wise leadership and hence renew our pledge to follow in the footsteps of our forefathers and protect our country’s achievements. We are determined to fulfil further achievements and reach new heights of excellence and leadership”, said Al Mazrouei
He extended his deepest congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, as well as Crown Princes and the UAE people.

Al Mazrouei stressed that the UAE Union Day is a source of pride and inspiration to everyone on this land. It is a day to honour the noble values instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.
This national occasion is no doubt an inexhaustible source of power and determination and a catalyst towards development. Thanks to its real investment in human capital, our country has become a magnet for global investments and a springboard towards renaissance, added Al Mazrouei.
