As part of its ongoing mission to empower girls and broaden their cultural horizons, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, a subsidiary of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, has hosted prominent Emirati poet Sheikh Majid Al Khateri, who shared many of his life experiences and recited a number of his most profound poems.

The poet provided the girls with key guidance and advise that will expand their literary knowledge and encourage them to explore the world of poetry.

The event included an interactive discussion where Al Khateri talked about his love of poetry since childhood, his fascination with history and his passion for equestrianism and horses.
