The Department of Government Relations in Sharjah (DGR) will be organising a Korean cultural and musical evening in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea on October 4, 2019, at 6:30 pm, at the Cultural Palace, Sharjah.

The event will be held in the presence of Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, Chairman of DGR; HE Chun Young-wook, Consul-General of the Republic of South Korea in Dubai and a host of top diplomats.

The programme forms part of the ‘Korea Week’, which will showcase the cultural and artistic richness of Jeollabuk-do Province on the west coast of South Korea.

The Department of Government Relations (DGR) was established in 2014 under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide the emirate and its international partners a platform for cooperation and diplomacy.

The Emirate of Sharjah prides itself in being a leading cultural, educational and innovation hub, with an international reach that spans the globe. The DGR supports the development of those relations by representing the emirate globally, hosting international delegates who visit the emirate and forging strategic partnerships with cities that share common values with Sharjah, particularly in fields like culture, education and innovation.
