Hamriyah Free Zone Resumes Work At 100% Capacity
The Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) has announced the resumption of work at full capacity across its facilities with all employees returning to their offices today (Sunday).
HFZA’s affirmed that its move comes in line with the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC)’s decision to resume work across government offices at full capacity, in implementation of the wise directives of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
It made it clear that before resuming work at full capacity, all precautionary measures across its facilities have been taken to create a safer and heathier environment for both employees and customers.
Keeping up with all changes
HE Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of HFZA, commended the SEC’s decision, saying it is a testament to the flexibility and dynamism of Sharjah government when dealing with various challenges. It also reaffirms Sharjah’s ability to quickly cope with all surrounding changes.
“This decision is a step in the right direction towards bringing life back to normality and enhancing the sense of safety and security for everyone. All economic activities are now resuming work while adhering to take all necessary preventive measures that would ensure the health and safety of employees, customers and society in general,” Al Mazrouei said.
He stressed that HFZA’s employees showed a great commitment to the decision on the resumption of the work and fully complied with the applicable health and safety measures. They demonstrated their ability to assume their responsibilities.
He added that HFZA and before the scheduled return of employees has taken all preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of its employees and customers including disinfecting the head office and other facilities, preparing circulars of measures taken internally.
“We have also taken strict measures to ensure social distancing and are providing all departments with masks and gloves, in addition to installing thermal cameras and devices to measure the temperature of employees and visitors when visiting our premises. We have also dedicated special rooms for isolation in cases of suspicion and installed disinfection gates at all entrances.
