The Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) is taking part in the 10th edition of SIAL Middle East 2019 in order to attract more investors from the UAE and beyond.

HFZA will be showcasing a special pavilion that highlights its most competitive services and advantages, including its leading project “Sharjah Food Park”.

The 10th SIAL Middle East kicked off today (Monday) in Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of The Abu Dhabi Agriculture & Food Safety Authority, ADAFSA. It is held under the theme ‘Defining Innovation in the Food, Beverage & Hospitality Industry’.

Attracting companies

“Our participation in SIAL Middle East 2019, which is one of the most important international exhibitions specialized in the food industry; aims to  showcase HFZA’s services and privileges being offered to local and foreign companies operating in the food and beverage industry. We also aim to attract potential companies to invest in Sharjah”, said HE Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of HFZA.

Al Mazrouei added: “We are very keen to attend major international events to shed light on HFZA, being one of the fastest growing free zones in the Middle East, and to attract investors from all over the world. Besides its leadership and excellence, HFZA offers a wide package of facilities, services, spaces and warehouse solutions for storing foodstuffs, and competitive advantages, all according to the best international practices, and is in line with Sharjah’s economic vision of and the UAE Vision 2021”.

Largest integrated city for food industries

He further stressed that HFZA pays special attention to supporting the food industry, adding: “We have launched mega projects to support this approach, including “Sharjah Food Park”, the region’s first and largest integrated city for food and commercial industries.

“During our participation in SIAL Middle East 2019,  we have dedicated a special stand for “Sharjah Food Park” to attract investors from around the world  and encourage the local business community to expand their business” Al Mazrouei said.

“Sharjah Food Park” consists of various lands, stores, offices, services and facilities, stretching over an area of more than 11 million square feet. It provides plots of land starting from 2500 square meters, in addition to licenses and major events related to the food industry, as well as accommodation with a capacity of more than 26,000 worker, besides many other value-added services.
