The Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show is set to wrap up this evening at the Expo Centre Sharjah, capping off a vibrant showcase with participation from over 900 companies worldwide.

This current edition has been particularly notable for its focus on fostering young Emirati talent and enhancing collaborations between local and international entities in the gold and jewellery sector.

Government entities have praised the show’s role as a pivotal platform for nurturing local designers and facilitating strategic exchanges that integrate global best practices while highlighting regional craftsmanship on an international stage.

HE Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, emphasised that the centre is committed to supporting Emirati entrepreneurs and talents by providing prominent platforms that enable innovators to showcase their work to a wide audience of specialists and stakeholders.

The show, he noted, has played a vital role in developing the skills of Emirati designers and promoting their creativity on the global stage since its inception. The exhibition offers an ideal environment for Emirati entrepreneurs and designers, bringing together emerging talents and leading companies in the gold and jewellery sector while also dedicating space to highlight young Emirati talents in jewellery design.

The “Emirates Jewellers” platform, sponsored by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the exhibition, continues to support young Emirati talents in jewellery design and showcase their artistic works at this significant event, drawing considerable visitor attention.

The stand featured a variety of unique crafts by talented Emirati artisans, including pieces from the exhibition’s youngest designer and a series of 3D designs that garnered praise from attendees and industry enthusiasts alike.

Additionally, the stand, sponsored for the first time by the Sharjah Business Women Council, following a recent cooperation agreement with Expo Centre Sharjah, showcased the work of several council members and industry professionals, featuring exquisite jewellery and art pieces crafted from pearls, diamonds, and precious stones.

The Sharjah Business Women Council highlighted the significance of the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, commending its key role as a platform for women entrepreneurs. It provides them an opportunity to showcase their products, connect with new customers, boost sales, and foster business relationships. Additionally, it allows participants to make deals and exchange experiences with major companies operating in the sector.
