Al Qasba To Celebrate National Day With Art And Cultural Activities
Al Qasba, Sharjah’s leisure, tourism and family destination, is getting ready to celebrate the 48th UAE National Day on 1 – 2 December with a packed art and cultural programme that will celebrate the country’s symbolic ‘Spirit of the Union’.
The rich history of the United Arab Emirates will be at the heart of the colourful line-up of programmes that will be on offer at Building A, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Emirati band ‘Fursan Al Maqabeel’ is scheduled to wow the audience with their traditional songs which embody the values of courage and strength. The activities in line with the theme of the Official 48th UAE National Day Celebration, ‘Legacy of Our Ancestors’.
The cultural events include poetry recital sessions by Emirati poets and seminars highlighting the UAE’s rich history, in addition to shows that portray the values of martyrdom and sacrifice, in addition to hosting one of the personalities, who lived through the formation of the country. Emirati artist Ahmed Al Ghuneimi’s music concert will enthral the audience with his rendition of popular Emirati songs.
From 30 November – 5 December, Al Qasba walkway, entrances and buildings will be adorned with UAE national flags.
