The folk music ensemble from Kazakhstan created quite a stir among the audience at the 18th edition of Sharjah Heritage Days (SHD), when they performed not only their own repertoire of songs, but also Arabic songs by popular Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi. The songs were practiced and performed by the Kazakh artists in collaboration with the UAE Embassy in Kazakhstan.

The three-week festival is the nation’s largest-of-its-kind, and brought global cultures from 29 nations worldwide on its platform, offering residents and visitors of the UAE a golden opportunity to learn about and closely experience the customs, traditions, arts and crafts, showcased by each participating country.
