During the panel discussion Fagr mentioned that several institutions are pivoting towards digitization and focusing on how this will positively affect their work and performance. This shift could be made by embracing everything data related, exploring virtual reality, artificial intelligence and the internet of things (IoT). Therefore institutions seeking to keep pace with the rapid changes, need to have a robust preconceived vision; a clear digital strategy, which they strongly believe in before trying to promote it. Speaking about how well companies having adopted a digital outlook are doing, Fagr highlighted that Sharjah Media City (Shams), which was born digital since its first day in 2017, has experienced a remarkable growth since its inception.
