The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, SCCI, revealed that the Sharjah Training & Development Center (STDC) has obtained accreditation as a certified center for administrative and occupational training from the Sharjah Private Education Authority.

According to this, the STDC becomes qualified to organize and hold training courses and workshops in the administrative and professional training for the public and private sector employees.

Congratulating the STDC on this achievement, HE Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the SCCI, underlined the SCCI’s keenness to develop the competence and skills of employees in various disciplines to achieve job excellence, as part of the Chamber’s strategy aimed at disseminating the culture of corporate quality and implementing the best academic practices in developing the human resources, as well as entrenching innovation and creativity in the workplace.

This comes in line with the wise directives and visions of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah in terms of leveraging efforts to develop the human capital as the optimal investment for societies.

“This accreditation is a testimony to the quality and efficiency of the training programs and courses the STDC offers with a view to raising the competency of the public and private sector’s administrative system and equipping them with the necessary academic qualifications and skills,” he added.

Mariam Al Shamsi, Director General Assistant for the Support Services Sector, stressed the SCCI’s commitment to making the most of its resources to train and qualify its employees and its members from the business sector, as well as in government bodies, through advanced and up-to-date programs and courses in accordance with the highest international standards.

This would help upskill the functional capacities and prepare responsible leaders who can fulfill the administrative and technical requirements of their respective jobs.
