SBA’s Virtual Book Club To Host Eminent Emirati Poet And Novelist Sultan Alameemi
The Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) continues its popularBook Club online series with a conversation with eminent Emirati novelist, poet, and critic Sultan Alameemi, Director of the Poetry Academy at the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH).
Alameemi will speak about his passion for literature and research on culture and heritage, as well as his personal life and career. This will mark the third session of the Book Club series, which has been bringing together a host of renowned Arab as well as international authors with lovers of books and culture in a safe, vibrant, and engaging environment over the past couple of months.

Alameemi writes Nabati as well as classic Arabic poetry. He has published two novels, P.O 1003 and One Room Is Not Enough, as well as three collections of short stories: Page 79 of My Diary, The Apple to Enter Paradise, and Elegant Crows. Many of his stories have been published in Arabic magazines and newspapers, and some of his poems have been translated into English.
