Sharjah Media City (Shams) sponsored a webinar organized by the American University of Sharjah (AUS), in support of the future of education. H.E.ShihabAlhammadi, Director of Sharjah Media City (Shams), was joined by, Dr. Alia Alserkal, Vice President People Learning & Growth at Du and NataljaKissina, HR VP Gulf Countries at Schneider Electric on the panel where they discussed hiring for the 4th Industrial Revolution. The webinar was attended by students and alumni from AUS, amongst others, and was moderated by Dr.Abdulrahman Al Ali, Professor of Computer Engineering at the AUS College of Engineering.

Alhammadi said, “We can already see the resounding effect on the ecommerce and online industries that the 4th Industrial Revolution is having. The introduction of new jobs and the increased efficiency in existing jobs are just a few examples of this. It is a great opportunity for more creativity and innovation, as employees must adapt to the quick and efficient style of work that is now becoming more familiar.”
