This open-source e-learning platform, instituted by Badiri Education and Development Academy – the education and capacity building arm of the UAE-based NAMA Women Advancement Establishment (NAMA), is now offering a free online course to help navigate the many critical aspects of the US college application.

Targeting parents and their high school wardskeen on entering the portals of an American university, Badiri E-Academy’s free, 2-lesson module titled, ‘MentorMe! – Overview of the US College Application’, highlights both the opportunities and challenges of gaining admission in the US, the different steps of the application process, standardised exams, documents required, recommendation letters, essays and personal statement, amongst others.

Available in English, ‘MentorMe! – Overview of the US College Application’, is one among the nine courses offered for free by Badiri E-Academy, all of which can be accessed online at https://www.badiriacademy.org/courses/us-college-application. It is presented by Georgia Gabriela, co-founder of collegementor.me – an educational platform.
