Grab a top-deck seat on board the charming red City Sightseeing Sharjah (CSS) bus and enjoy the spectacular evening sights as the 10th Sharjah Light Festival transforms the city into a wide canvas of vibrant colours and dancing images. CSS commenced this special tour yesterday (Wednesday), which will run through the entire duration of the festival, until February 15.

Departing every hour from 7:00 p.m. onwards until 10:00 p.m., the hop-on hop-off festival tours will take visitors and residents on a spectacular showing of the Emirate’s landmark buildings, including Khalid Lagoon, Al Noor Mosque, Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Qasba and the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to enjoy an all-encompassing view of the large-scale light installations and projections created by international visual designers, and digital media artists. Sharjah’s Central Souq is the pick-up and drop-off point for this tour.

The illuminations, inspired by subjects as varied as science, creativity and knowledge, glow up more than a dozen locations across the emirate during family-friendly festival, and shine new light on some of the most well-known buildings in Sharjah.

A ride on the double-decker City Sightseeing Sharjah bus is also one of the best ways to discover the Emirate, as riders can linger on at any of the five destinations to soak in the breathtaking sights at leisure, and embark or disembark at any of these points. The one-hour tour ride also offers exemplary guide services in multilingual audio format in 7 languages.

Tickets for the Sharjah Light Festival tour costs AED 30 for adults and AED 10 for kids, and are available for purchase on CSS sales Kiosks and Busses in Sharjah, along on the website: www.citysightseeing.ae
