Keeping its promise of providing something for every visitor, the E88 Market organised by Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre (JRCC), entertained families and children with the right mix of hands-on activities.

Young bakers took their hobby to a new level as Chef Rami Abdo Al Jibrael from JRCC demonstrated the intricacies of donut and ice cream cookie decoration. The Jumping Clay UAE held several workshops that taught fascinated children the art of making pen holders, jars and ice cream mug decoration using clay, apart from ‘Snowman Modelling’.

Children also learnt important firefighting tips from Sharjah Civil Defence experts, and about hand hygiene, first aid and unhealthy foods at separate workshops held by the Saudi German Hospital.

There was also entertainment galore with stage and film shows organised by Sharjah Youth as well as Sajaya. Fire dancers, dabke performers, football jugglers and stilt walkers added excitement to the evenings, along with Arabic Oud performances accompanied by live singing. There were Bingo Nights and the JRCC Mystery Box competition that kept everybody fascinated.

E88 Market promises more such excitement in the coming week, including live music, food trucks, circus acts, and cookery competitions.  It is open to public from 4pm to 11pm until January 4, 2020.
