“Alone At Home” Children’s Play Debuts At Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival 2023!
The Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF 2023) is set to feature an exciting adventure that will leave the audience on the edge of their seats. The twelve-day festival will showcase the children’s play “Alone at Home,” which has been produced by the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) in collaboration with Nujum from the UAE and Kuwait’s Panther Media Production. The play is a part of SBA’s efforts to enhance children’s knowledge and experiences through artistic works and to build a well-aware generation with elevated taste.
The play features a talented cast of Emirati actors including Deema Ahmed, Mohammed Jumaa, Abdullah Nabil, Saud Al Zarouni, and Kuwaiti actors Hanadi Al Kandari, Shouq Al Hadi, Mohammed Al Haddad, Ahmed bin Hussein, Malak Abu Zeid, and Jana Alfailakawi.
“Alone at Home” tells the story of two siblings left alone at home when their parents go away. Initially, the children think they will have fun, but things take a dramatic turn when a gang unexpectedly tries to break into their house. To protect themselves and their home, the brother and sister must work together and face the gang. The play promises to be an unforgettable experience for the audience.
