Coral Beach Resort Sharjah a property by HMH- Hospitality Management Holding hosted the ninth edition of the annual Pink Caravan Ride On the inaugural day February 23rd 2019.

Coral Beach Resort, Sharjah welcomed the riders of the pink brigade from Pink Caravan who started the week-long breast cancer awareness representing the pan-UAE initiative. The journey began with a parade of the riders at Coral Beach Resort to mark the beginning of the cancer awareness week. There were a free check-up and screening held for women highlighting the importance of early detection through regular self-examination and medical screenings. All the guests, riders, and volunteers of the Pink Caravan were further invited to lunch at Cote Jardin.

The seven-day journey had been undertaken by 150+ equines, along with medical and community volunteers, who will be charting 154 kilometres across the seven emirates to heighten community’s awareness about the importance of regular screenings and early detection in successfully tackling the disease

Mr. Haytham Abdul Aziz, Cluster General Manager of Coral Beach Resort Sharjah & Bahi Ajman Palace said, “We are honoured to be one of the first to host the ninth Pink Caravan Ride at our property- Coral Beach Resort. This initiative gives us a chance to show our support to the society in educating and raising awareness about early detection and breast cancer control across our society and community. ”

Medical clinics will operate daily from 10 am to 6 pm throughout the seven-day ride, which include 30 mobile medical clinics and seven fixed clinics (one in each emirate) These clinics will offer free check-ups and screenings to all segments of the community throughout the duration of the campaign.
