Number Plate 7 Sells For Dh5 Million At A Public Auction For Distinguished Number Plates In Sharjah

The number plate (7) recorded the highest bid in a public auction organized by Emirates Auction, the leading company in the field of management and organization of public and online auctions in the Middle East, in cooperation and coordination with the Sharjah Police Headquarters. The number was sold for Dh5 million after a fierce competition was witnessed between bidders at the auction, which was held on Saturday night at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre in Sharjah.
The number plate (20) recorded the second highest bid in the auction with Dh1.900 million, while the number plate (14) came in third with a winning bid of Dh1.810 million. On the other hand, the number plate (55) witnessed the highest number of bids and was sold for Dh1.550 million, followed by the number plate (69) which recorded the second highest number of bids before being sold for Dh1.250 million.
The auction concluded its activities with great success in terms of attendance, competitive environment, sales and customer satisfaction. The auction was held in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Central Department of Finance; Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of the Sharjah Police; Colonel Ali Bualzod, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers’ Licensing Department at Sharjah Police; HE Abdulla M. AlMannaei, Chairman and Managing Director of Emirates Auction; and a number of senior officers from Sharjah Police, as well as a large crowd of enthusiasts and media representatives.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of the Sharjah Police, congratulated all the winners at the auction. He expressed that Sharjah Police is keen to continue to organize this type of initiative that aims to support the development goals of the emirate of Sharjah, and to contribute in enhancing the community policing services in accordance to the best global practices. He also praised the efforts of Emirates Auction for their success in organizing auctions that have a high level of professionalism, ease and transparency, which aligns with the Sharjah police standards for serving its patrons.

The winners of the auction will receive a certificate of ownership after the payment process is completed, and bidders were able to waive the numbers that they have won to others during the auction.
