SIBF 2018 To Showcase Innovative Digital Skills At Social Media Station
Enthusiasts of creative art and modern technology will be introduced to the digital world, spanning animation, advertising campaigns and creation of content on social media platforms, at the Social Media Station held as part of the 37th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2018), from October 31 to November 10.
The Station will host a series of interactive workshops involving social media influencers who will share their personal experiences in the digital medium, as well as their knowledge and expertise in today’s communication and media sectors.
The workshops will allow attendants to gain insights into how to produce interactive content in line with today’s technologies. The event is designed to familiarise participants with the importance of exchanging ideas and sharing them via new digital media channels, as well as using effective social media marketing methods and tools.
The Social Media Station is allocating six interactive training workshops for government employees, the first of which is called Building a Network of Professional Relationships through Social Media, which will provide participants with tips on to how to expand the network of professional relationships to find new job opportunities via sites such as LinkedIn, XING, Shaper and other social networking platforms.
The Marketing Campaign workshop will allow participants to learn how to build and launch an effective and efficient marketing campaign, while the Work in the Social Media Field workshop will highlight the advantages of using social media as a job-search tool in a professional manner.
A mini workshop entitled Instagram for Non-Designers will offer participants a host of tips, advice and design tools to help non-specialist designers produce attractive visual content commensurate with the nature of social media.
Government employees will also benefit from a workshop on how to launch a successful advertising campaign. The workshop will provide tips and guidelines that ensure the success of an advertising campaign on Facebook.
Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about creative ideas on how to place advertisements on the internet via the pay-per-click business model.
The Social Media platform will also host a workshop called Advertising Writing on Social Media, which will educate participants on how to write an appealing social media post on Facebook and Instagram to get more followers.
Visitors will also learn how to build an effective and efficient marketing campaign, where speakers will provide them with many tips and tools that can be used to build a marketing campaign when they plan to launch a certain product or a service.
The Social Media Automation workshop will introduce participants to a number of online tools used in sharing posts and media content via social media, as well as auto-responder programs and timetable apps.
The Work in the Social Media Field workshop will give answers to several questions about the mechanics of writing an attractive post and the latest social media trends. It will also show the benefits of social media and different paths that can be followed when using social media in a professional manner.
The workshop titled How to Launch the First Successful Advertising Campaign? will provide participants with tips to ensure the launch of a successful advertising campaign on Facebook and how to take advantage of creative ideas in pay-per-click advertisements.
SIBF’s visitors will also learn how to create cartoon characters at the Cartoon Character Design workshop, where speakers will offer tips on how to design a cartoon character and use it as an invitation to attend the SIBF 2018.
Non-designers will learn at the Instagram workshop a host of tips and design tools to create attractive visual content on social media.
