Thousands Of Children Put Smiles On The Faces Of Less Fortunate By Personalising Iftar Boxes At City Centres In The Northern Emirates
Schoolchildren across the Northern Emirates have participated in the special charity iftar boxes decoration sessions at City Centre Sharjah, Ajman and Fujairah during the Holy Month.
More than 5,000 children have put their personal touches to the iftar boxes filled with dates, nuts and juice by the malls, which is being distributed to those less fortunate by the Emirates Red Crescent Society. Families are invited to participate and drop their kids off at the special crafts corner until the end of Ramadan.
The initiative helps spread the message of compassion and sharing among children during the Holy Month as they get creative and design beautiful boxes that will bring smiles to the faces of those in need.
As part of Majid Al Futtaim’s annual ‘Make a Difference Together’ campaign across all shopping malls in the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt and Beirut this Ramadan, City Centre Sharjah, City Centre Ajman and City Centre Fujairah also encourage families to donate daily essentials for the less fortunate. Special donation boxes are placed inside the malls and visitors are invited to donate gently used clothes, books, toys and non-perishable food items, which will be collected and donated through the distribution channels of Emirates Red Crescent Society, warming the hearts of thousands of people.
